Romantic Date Ideas

Romantic dates are incredibly important for dating and relationships. Sure, real relationships are a perfect mix of two people being best friends and passionate lovers. However, relationships are all about romance. Romance is what defines the difference between dating and relationships from friends and coworkers.

It is no secret that women are more romantic then men. They might seem skeptical sometimes, but deep inside all women love romantic attributes such as flowers, lit candles, romantic dinners, gifts, and surprises. Romantic things for women represent being “special”, and this is what each and every woman wants.

The internet is full of different ideas, but we believe that each and every couple is different and unique. Therefore we will provide you not only with ideas, but also with general guidelines.

ROMANTIC DATE IDEA GUIDELINES for the person who arranges the date.

  • Make it a surprise. Don’t tell her that it will be a special night in advance.
  • Plan a “theme” in advance. For example, for a picnic, it can be “French night”, “Italian night”, etc. so you can have French food, French music, French wine, etc. Let your imagination go
  • Bring a gift. The most important part here is not the gift itself, but the idea, so make sure it’s beautifully wrapped.
  • A romantic date must include the following attributes – being alone (even if you are among people), having lit candles, having flowers, and having quiet music.
  • Leave all your problems and news outside of the date. No mentioning that your boss was mean today, that your dog vomited 3 times, etc.
  • Wear something different from your usual style to surprise your date.
  • Affection is a part of romance, so if you decide that this is a romantic date, don’t afraid to show your feelings – hold hands, hug and kiss each other, and say sweet words

ROMANTIC DATE IDEA EXAMPLES

  • Dinner cruise – if you live in a city by the water, a dinner cruise during the sunset would be a very romantic date idea.
  • Candlelight dinner – here you can be creative and it all depends on your budget. You can cook a dinner yourself and serve it on your balcony, roof, or backyard or you can rent a private room at a restaurant, have dinner served, and a violin played. There are no boundaries; you can make it as romantic and creative as you want.
  • Jacuzzi night – if you have a jacuzzi home, it’s great. However, if you don’t, check out hotels that have it in the living room. Surround your Jacuzzi with candles, flowers, and don’t forget about wine or champagne on ice.
  • Romantic picnic – how do you make it different from a different picnic? You have to choose the place in advance, preferable a quiet place by the water or by a fire with a beautiful view (also, a mood light and a good view of the stars would make it even better). The person who initiates the picnic date should also make sure that each and every detail is thoughtful and beautiful. Bringing a wrapped gift would make the date even more memorable.
