Friendship Poems
Choose friends wisely, the portrait they paint
Is who you are and who you ain’t.
Friendship is life’s great support
When friends are of the right sort.
For all your dreams do they make room,
Or bring you down with doom and gloom?
You will know a friendship is true
When it brings out the best in you.
by David Leonhardt
A friend is someone who brightens your day with a smile,
a warm hello, or gentle words from the heart.
A friend is a precious gift to be cherished
and nurtured. A friend is a treasure beyond worth.
I am so grateful to call you my friend!!

The biblical verses present in the Book of Ecclesiastes:
«Live joyfully with the wife whom you love
All the days of your life of vanity
God has given you under the sun,
For that is your portion in life,
Among the labour days you have to support under the sun»
Life without friendship
Life without friendship….
is like the dawn without the sun.
Life without friendship….
is like the sky without the moon
when the evening has begun.
Life without friendship….
is like a rose without rain.
Life without friendship….
just wouldn’t be the same.
Life without friendship….
is like a ship without a sea.
Life without friendship….
just could not be
without a friend like you for me.
My Everything Friend
You magnify my happiness
When I am feeling glad;
You help to heal my injured heart
Whenever I am sad.
You’re such a pleasure in my life;
I hope that you can see
How meaningful your friendship is;
You’re a total joy to me.
Thank You, Friend
Thank you, friend, for all the things
That mean so much to me–
For concern and understanding
You give abundantly.
Thanks for listening with your heart;
For cheering me when I’m blue;
For bringing out the best in me;
And just for being you.
Thanks for in-depth conversation
That stimulates my brain;
For silly times we laugh out loud;
For things I can’t explain.
For looking past my flaws and faults;
For all the time you spend;
For all the kind things that you do,
Thank you; thank you, friend.

Truly A Friend
Someone to lean on when problems appear,
Someone on whom you’d depend,
Someone who’ll lift you when you’re down in the dumps,
That someone is truly a friend.
That’s how I feel about you my dear friend;
You’re so special just as you are.
Just to know that you’re there provides comfort to spare;
A friendship like yours sets the bar.
